Many times the threshold for performance for comedy music is low because most people in an audience can't play an instrument or sing well, so if you have some musical background, a simple comedy song doesn't take much effort to put up on stage and garner the obligatory applause. But do your songs stand out? Are they neat and/or cute, or are they funny? Learn some specific approaches to help elevate your comedy songwriting and style.
