How to Build Your Comedy Blog

The Second City and Blue Sky Innovation team up to show you the ins and outs of blogging with WordPress.com. ChicagoNow community manager Jimmy Greenfield coaches - and sometimes agitates - the bloggers who collectively contribute 400-500 posts each week to the ChicagoNow website. The Second City's Tyler Dean Kempf and Jimmy will co-lead this hands-on workshop that will have participants up and blogging by the end of the session. You will learn technical and content skills, including how to choose the right design theme to match content and how to write posts that will be read and shared. All are welcome. For the most effective experience, attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop, develop a blog idea ahead of time and have a registered WordPress.com account.
