Ceramics - Introduction To Clay

Introduction to basic clay techniques including coil, pinch, slab, wheel and glazing. Students will explore hand building, wheel throwing, texture, decoration, glazing and firing with an emphasis on design and form, as time allows. Bring basic ceramics tools (cutting wire, brushes, sponge, needle tool) and 25 lbs Cone 5/6 clay to first class. $20 non-refundable material fee per registered class due to instructor at first class.
