Description
Join us for exercises for better balance, and to maintain independence, as well as prevent falls! This Level 1 class is for those new to the Better Balance classes, as well as those with limited mobility, who might need a slower paced class. The focus will be on strengthening the core and maintaining core strength to improve balance. We will also do exercises to strengthen the pelvis, legs and knees as well as to improve posture. Each session also incudes a class focused on helping to prevent falls, as well as strategies to help you get back up, in case you do fall. Please note that a portion of each class includes standing exercises and walking exercises.
