Intermediate / Advanced 3.0-3.5+

This clinic is taught by an Elite USPTA instructor and former ATP touring Pro or NCAA-level coach. The 90-minute session is designed for doubles-style game play to improve your doubles strategy; tennis strokes, consistency, and placement of the ball to get the opposition on defense. Players will learn to create opportunities through ball placement, improve court positioning, and solidify good footwork and form. In addition. Live ball is a great way for players to develop competitive skills, such as tactical use of lobs, overheads, approach shots, and volleys for net play - in a short time.

All students must bring one new can of balls and tennis racquet to class.

PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION for Santa Monica residents begins Wednesday, April 20 at 6 a.m. Non-resident registration begins Wednesday, April 27 at 6 a.m. Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.

REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.

REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.

CANCELLED CLASSES will be made up at the end of the session. Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
