Description

Santa Monica Baseball Academy Elite Pitching & Catching Camp is a must for serious minded pitchers and catchers who want to get to the next level! Coaches will work one-on-one with pitchers alongside catching coaches to give a one of a kind mini-camp experience! Players will work on proper pitching and catching mechanics and learn how to create a comprehensive throwing program to increase arm strength and injury prevention! This comprehensive pitching & catching camp goal is to integrate both physical and mental skills which prepares the entire athlete, body and mind, for the practice or performance environment. Players will work on pitching and catching techniques from grips, velocity, core and arm care. Players will also work on flexibility, strengthening and stress relief from our certified baseball yoga instructors! This is an advance camp for advance players wanting to get Better! Stronger! Faster! This camp is a must for any player who wants to compete at the highest level! Players will work one-on-one with our instructors to evaluate their level of play and where to add strength to any weakness in their game!

Players should either wear baseball attire daily, including hats, cleats, sunscreen, lunch and plenty of water.

CAMP RUNS THU & FRI ONLY.

A cash material fee of $5 is payable to the instructor on the first day of camp.

The SMBA professional coaches are subject to availability and at the discretion of SMBA for any and all camps, clinics and private lessons.

PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION (for Santa Monica Residents only) runs November 6 (6 am) through November 12. Non-resident registration opens November 13.

REFUNDS - Camp refunds will be issued with medical documentation or if requested at least 5 calendar days prior to the first meeting. Refunds will be prorated. A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Requests must be made in writing to the Program Supervisor in person or by fax (310-899-0840), mail, or email (communityclasses@smgov.net). Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.

REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.

Makeups will not be offered for days missed by the student. All camp dates, times, locations, and instructors are subject to change without notice. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
