Description: 

Musical Theater Camp is for those campers who love to sing as well as explore acting. Campers will sing, dance and create scenes which reflect the theme of the chosen song. The material is geared for all singing levels....and campers’ song ideas are welcome! The camp culminates with an end-of-camp presentation.

Kids On Stage is a premier youth performing arts program since 1987. All our plays are adapted and customized to fit the group dynamic and needs. Every student has a voice and every student has a chance to shine! Students work with a theater professional and will experience theater games, acting, singing, and dancing while learning to hit their mark and find their own unique voice. Programs are designed to foster teamwork, brainstorming, confidence and self-expression and encourage each actor to tap into their creative storytelling abilities. Creative expression and joy are encouraged.

WHAT TO BRING: Water bottle (please label with your child’s name).

WHAT TO WEAR: Comfortable clothing for easy movement. Sneakers preferable (no flip-flops).

LATE PICK-UP FEE: Our teachers have other obligations directly after so everyone must pick up on time. There is a $2.00 a minute fee late fee which begins just after the end of the camp hours.

The City of Santa Monica continues to place the highest value on the health and safety of our community. Additional safety protocols and procedures such as social distancing and face masks may be implemented as directed by current LA County Department of Public Health Guidelines.

REFUNDS - Camp refunds will be issued with medical documentation or if requested at least 5 calendar days prior to the first meeting. Refunds will be prorated. A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Requests must be made by email to community.classes@smgov.net. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable and are nonrefundable.

REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.

Makeups will not be offered for days missed by the student. All class dates, times, locations, and instructors are subject to change without notice.
