Description: 

Become part of our full immersion Spanish Camp and explore Hispanic culture including their most famous national and cultural celebrations! Campers will practice vocabulary, expressions, dialogues, numbers, and colors. More advanced students will increase vocabulary by reading and writing engaging stories, and creating new story plots. We will also enjoy face painting, arts and crafts, yoga, gardening, cooking, music, costumes, and of course a lot of ALEGRIA (happiness)!

Children must be ready to attend camp on their own and be potty trained. Face mask is required. Please bring a healthy snack and lunch, and water. $25 cash material fee is due to the instructor on the first day of camp.

The City of Santa Monica continues to place the highest value on the health and safety of our community. Additional safety protocols and procedures such as social distancing and face masks may be implemented as directed by current LA County Department of Public Health Guidelines.

PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION for Santa Monica residents begins Wednesday, November 3 at 6 a.m. Non-resident registration begins Wednesday, November 10 at 6 a.m. Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.

REFUNDS - Camp refunds will be issued with medical documentation or if requested at least 5 calendar days prior to the first meeting. Refunds will be prorated. A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Requests must be made by email to community.classes@santamonica.gov. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.

REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.

CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
