Spanish Homeschool Program 3-10 yrs

This in person homeschool program shares the same schedules, seasonal classes, and projects as the Spanish Steps program; however, the homeschool lesson plans are customized. Students are provided with activities based on their language skill level, age, and interest. Children in the homeschool program are referred to as "older brother / older sister". Being integrated with the younger kids creates an environment of cooperation and encouragement.

Children must be ready to attend class on their own and be potty trained. Face mask is required. Please bring a healthy snack and lunch, and water. $25 cash material fee is due to the instructor on the first day of class.

No class dates: January 17 and February 21.

The City of Santa Monica continues to place the highest value on the health and safety of our community. Additional safety protocols and procedures such as social distancing and face masks may be implemented as directed by current LA County Department of Public Health Guidelines.

PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION for Santa Monica residents begins Wednesday, November 3 at 6 a.m. Non-resident registration begins Wednesday, November 10 at 6 a.m. Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.

REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.

REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.

CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
