
Spanish for Adults - Beginner Spring S1

Description
Students will be introduced to the Spanish language through stories, songs, dialogues, role-playing, and reading. Class focuses on communicative approaches. Students will learn greetings, present tense, expressions, numbers, and enough vocabulary that will allow them to understand and communicate in simple sentences describing places and people.
$25 materials fee due to instructor first day.
PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION (for Santa Monica Residents only) runs January 29 (6 am) through February 4. Non-resident registration opens February 5.
REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be made in writing to the program supervisor in person or by fax (310-899-0840), mail, or email (communityclasses@smgov.net). Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
CANCELLED CLASSES will be made up at the end of the session. Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
