Description: 

This class is designed for Dancers who are interested in developing their Dance techniques in Jazz and Hip Hop. Kids will have TONS OF FUN warming up, stretching, learning Jazz (walks, kicks, turns, leaps, etc.) and Hip Hop (jumping, clapping, turning and performing to the latest dance moves), while developing their performance techniques. The students will learn at least one choreographed Jazz and Hip Hop routine. The skills and dance routines taught will vary depending on the age and skill level of the group. Parents will be invited to a mini performance on the last day of class.

PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION (for Santa Monica Residents only) runs November 6 (6 am) through November 12. Non-resident registration opens November 13.

REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be made in writing to the program supervisor in person or by fax (310-899-0840), mail, or email (communityclasses@smgov.net). Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.

REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.

CANCELLED CLASSES will be made up at the end of the session. Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
