Families are encouraged to film their dancer to share the performance with family and friends. Class fee includes a costume. A costume measurement form was included at registration. Please have this form available on the first day of class, as well as a vinyl tape measure. Instructors will go over accurate measuring with the entire class.
This class will also include an in-person performance with the entire class. This in-person performance and rehearsal will take place the week of May 17 at the Community Recreation Center. No live audience will be allowed, but the performance will be filmed and shared. More details and a schedule will be distributed later in the session, however, please be aware that for the safety of participants, instructors and staff, all in-person classes offered through the Santa Clara Parks & Recreation Department will follow the current Santa Clara County Public Health Orders and social distancing protocols. All participants and staff will be given a daily health screening and be required to wear face coverings upon arrival and exiting the facility, as well as during class.
This online class will use Zoom platform, so all who register should have reliable internet and Zoom downloaded to access the call. A meeting and access code will be emailed to you prior to the first meeting date. We recommend each participant have access to a device with a working webcam, in order to get the most benefit of this virtual program.
