Description

CREATIVE ARTISTIC THEATRICAL SHOWCASE (C.A.T.S.): Participants come to daily rehearsals for acting, singing, and dancing, culminating in the production of Disney's Frozen Jr.

Disney's Frozen Jr. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, on stage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film as well as all the cast of beloved characters.

Participants must provide their own costumes, including black, soft-soled dance shoes, and a lunch each day. Our production will be showcased at the Mission City Center for Performing Arts, 3250 Monroe Street, on July 19, 20, and 21 at 7:00 p.m., and July 20 and 21 at 11:30 a.m. Participants should plan to attend camp every day. C.A.T.S. payment plan is available: 50% of the class fee due at the time of enrollment, full balance due by June 10. Payment plan is not available through mobile registration.

Notes

No class July 4. If making payments, please remember to pay your balance by June 10. Please bring a sack lunch to camp each day. Auditions will take place on the first day. There is no need to prepare an audition. We will provide your audition materials. Please wear clothes and shoes you can dance in. No sandals or flip-flops are allowed. Students will be responsible for providing their own costumes and black dance shoes. Beginning the week of July 11 through the remainder of camp, we request all campers attend, as this begins the technical portion of the show with complete run throughs and it is vital to have the entire cast and crew. More information will be given in camp. The final class, Friday, July 22, will be from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. For the health and safety of participants, instructors and staff, all in-person classes offered through the City of Santa Clara Parks & Recreation Department will follow current State and County Public Health Department Orders and guidance. Participants and staff should not attend program if sick.
