Description: 

Join us at Kid’s Club – an outdoor afterschool program designed for participants in grades K through 5th, operating Monday through Friday from 1:30 to 6:00 pm.

City staff provide activities that foster a positive self-esteem, spark a curiosity for nature, build teambuilding skills, and strengthen each participant’s sense of belonging. Activities offered range from games, nature exploration, as well as arts and crafts.

The program will adhere to COVID-19 Safety Guidelines. Group sizes are limited to 14 youth participants and 2 adult staff members, so space is limited.

All participants will be required to wear a mask, bring a refillable water bottle and a healthy snack, as well as wear comfortable closed-toe shoes and clothes that may get dirty.

The program follows the San Leandro Unified School District school calendar and City holiday calendar. Please note there is no Kid’s Club on the following days: 1/18/2021 for MLK jr. Day, 2/15-2/19/2021 for President's Week, and 4/5-4/9/2021 for Spring Break.

In addition, the program may be cancelled on inclement weather and poor air quality days.

No Kid’s Club April 5-9 for Spring Break.
