Description
Join us this summer for an exciting outdoor adventure at the Lake Cunningham Action Sports Park. The Action Sports Park is the largest complex in America with diverse skill level riding features for skaters and BMX riders as well as scooters, roller skating and roller blading. The Park features the world’s largest full pipe and world’s tallest vertical wall along with mini bowls, a street course, rails and more! The bike park portion consists of a dual slalom track, beginner & advanced pump track, plus dirt jumps with slope style features. Weekly summer sessions are being offered for beginner level riders ages 6 – 13 years old. Instructional skateboarding, BMX, dirt jumping, and scootering lessons will also be offered. We're looking forward to showing you everything this unique park has to offer. Camp participants must bring their own cold lunch, snacks, drinks, water bottles, and wear comfortable shoes. Action Sports Park has a pro shop with snacks for sale that is separate from registration enrollment. Camp Sessions will provide:Action Sports Equipment: various bike sizes/ styles, BMX and dirt jumpers, also skateboards and scooters.Protective riding gear (helmets, elbow pads, knee pads, wrist guards). Strongly recommend personal bike, skateboard, roller skates and/or scooters. Personal equipment cannot be stored on site. Equipment will need to be taken home at the end of the day. A camp FAQ sheet will be provided to all registered participants via email before the first day of camp with additional details. Late Pick Up Policy
If you have an emergency and are unable to pick up on time, please contact the site phone number or supervising park site.
Campers must be picked up at the scheduled program end time. If, after five minutes, a camper is not picked up, we may charge $1.00 per camper for every minute thereafter. If fees are not paid within 1 week of the late pickup date, your camper will be suspended until the fee has been paid. Fees can be paid by cash or check at the supervising park site. Please make checks payable to “City of San José.” Excessive late pick-ups will result in the removal from the program with no refund. Excessive late pick-ups defined as 5 (five) or more in one month.
Emergency contact information will be used in the case of late pick ups or emergencies. In the case of late pick ups, City of San José staff will proceed with the following steps.
Contact Parent or Guardian.
Contact Emergency contacts.
Contact CPS or PD. Once SJPD and/or CPS have been contacted, your child must remain on site until they arrive.
Refund and Transfer Policy
All refund and transfer requests need to be made in writing.
Refunds may be submitted in person to any PRNS facility or by email to SJRegistration@sanjoseca.gov
Refunds and transfers may not be done online.
Transfers must be requested for classes in the same season.
All refunds and transfer requests must be received at least 14 calendar days prior to the start of the program/class.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations received less than 14 calendar days prior to the start of the program/class.
There will be a $10 refund processing fee for EACH activity and EACH child.
If a class was paid with cash or check, a refund check will be mailed and may take 6-8 for processing. If a class was paid with a credit card, the refund will be credited back to the credit card.
Minimum Enrollment & Class Cancellation
The City of San José reserves the right to cancel any class or activity that does not meet a set minimum enrollment. Please register early to avoid class cancellations.
We will make every effort to notify you of a cancellation at least five days prior to the scheduled course starting date.
