Description: This is a grown up and child class where you engage with your little one singing, dancing and playing pretend. Instill confidence and hone their skills by introducing your child to the joy and beauty of song and dance! Your child will learn the fundamentals of proper voice and dance techniques. The program promises to be highly engaging, entertaining, challenging, inspiring and FUN! Songs in this class will be appropriate and educational for this age group. Class will end with a little story time or sing-along! This is an online class.
Biography:Katie earned her degree in the performing arts, holding a B.F.A. from New York University?s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts CAP21 Conservatory. She has had experience performing professionally and teaching voice and dance for over 25 years. She offers private training in vocal technique, audition, and performances ages 5 to professional adult. Her vocal background from NYU is classical with training in musical theatre/pop vocal performance styles. She also teaches classes in Theatre Jazz and Broadway and contemporary tap dance styles from beginner to advanced. Katie is a Bay Area native a proud member of the Actor?s Equity Association and Owner and Director of Broadway Babies and Kids in San Carlos. Her students have been accepted to some of the most prestigious universities, colleges for Musical Theatre and are producing, directing, choreographing and performing professionally regionally and on Broadway and television.
