Description

Summer Youth Program offers a variety of structured, supervised activities for children ages 6-12. The activities include traditional sports, active games, craft projects, fitness and nutrition, art exploration, reading, and weekly enrichment lessons in math and science. This site will be provided meals by the school district or by the Parks and Recreation Department on alternating days throughout the program. A meal schedule will be provided.

Mon-Thurs: HISD will serve Breakfast & Lunch. Please send a snack/drink.

Fri: Summer Youth Program will serve Lunch & Snack. Please eat breakfast at home.

July 21 - Aug 1, 2025

Mon-Fri: Summer Youth Program will serve Lunch & Snack. Please eat breakfast at home.

Program closed for Holidays: Thursday, June 19, 2025, and the week of June 30 - July 4, 2025.

Camp Dates: Monday, June 9, 2025 - Friday, August 1, 2025.

I understand that if I fail to complete my payment plan prior to June 2, 2025, I will forfeit my child's enrollment in the Summer Youth Program.

If a participant is registered for and is unable to participate in a program, the refund must be received in writing and be received prior to the start of the program, camp, league, ect. In the instance that a participant is removed from the program due to behavioral issues, a refund or credit will not be issued. For cancellations/withdrawals after the start date, fees will not result in a refund or credit to account except for unforeseen circumstances and subject to the approval of the Parks and Recreation Manager.
