Youth Horse Riding Camp
Youth RecreationSpring 2023|#6699
Description
Develop a foundation of knowledge and responsibility in horsemanship. Along with daily riding, participants will learn grooming skills, safety, equipment care and parts, trail riding, mounted games, crafts, horse anatomy and the basics to becoming a true horse person.
On the last day of camp, at the end of the day, Jana and her staff will throw a big shindig for all the campers and their families! Enjoy hot dogs and fixin’s around a bonfire then let your child give you a tour of the ranch.
Participants must wear long pants, riding boots with a heel (no hunting or hiking boots), and bring your sack lunch with a refillable water bottle.
Certain camp participant restrictions apply.
Good behavior and listening skills are required. If participants arrive without their long pants and boots they will not be able to ride due to safety reasons. Helmets are provided!
