Coach Pitch Modified: 5-7 year old

The Rock Island Parks and Recreation Department is offering a baseball/softball coach pitch league for all youth ages 5-7. This program is an all-gender league that is designed to build upon baseball/softball skills that were acquired in t-ball and to prepare boys and girls for future years of baseball/softball. Volunteer coaches will lead practices and games. The coaches will pitch to their team to help each child develop proper batting skills and to ease the transition from t-ball to the real deal. Through practices and games your child will improve their motor skills, get exercise, meet new friends, and most of all have fun! Practices and games will be on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings. Field locations will be determined based on the number of children registered. Any child who is 5 years old and no older than 7 years old when program begins is eligible.
