Description

The program encourages skaters to learn the sport of skating for physical recreation and activity while taking limitations into consideration. Open to participants with down syndrome, autism, are blind, deaf and more. Note: Bicycle helmets and gloves are required. Knee pads are recommended. If skaters have a therapist or aide, they will be accommodated. Please arrive 30 minutes early on the first day of class.

Refunds will not be granted unless class is cancelled. Credits will be issued for the amount of the course if the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department is notified before the second class meeting. Online registration transaction fees are non-refundable.
