Description: Wildflower! Kids is offering a fun S.T.E.A.M. inspired take-home kit that combines learning with creativity! Participants will learn about the life cycle of a butterfly and create a butterfly of their own. Curbside pick up will be at Heights Recreation Center on Thursdays from 2 pm - 4 pm and on Fridays 1 pm - 4 pm. Heights Recreation Center is closed, so please stay in your car and call 972-744-7850 upon arrival. Staff will bring the kit to your car. Supplies included: instructions/educational information, pipe cleaner, coffee filter, clothespin, dry noodles, and paper materials needed for the project. Supplies needed at home: washable markers, table protection (ex. foil, wax paper, etc.), spray bottle or cup for water and a paper towel. Please email Allison.Rhinebarger@cor.gov with any questions.
