Grades 6 to 8:
Learn how to make a movie from professional filmmakers who will guide you through the Young Filmmakers Online Academy series. Only a cell phone or tablet is needed. This series of 3 classes spread out over 3 weeks allows time in between to create your film. The first class covers pre-production: story, script, genre, tone, interviews. The second class focuses on production: directing, camera, lighting, and sound. And the third class reviews post-production: editing, special effects, credits, and digital citizenship. In the end, you just might have a film to enter in the One Earth Young Filmmakers Contest (optional).
