Description
Yoga comes to life in these fun and creative parent/caregiver participation classes designed to stimulate a young child's growing curiosity. Playful yoga poses, animated breathing exercises and imaginative relaxation techniques, teach toddlers and young children about their growing bodies. Sprinkled with music, picture books and age appropriate props, we'll spark the child's inner yogi while enhancing language development, motor coordination.
Classes are an equal balance between active and passive poses. In this family yoga class, adults and little yogis gather together to share in the fun and relaxation of yoga in an outdoor setting. We'll explore practices together that will help build strong family and caretaker connections.
This class is for children ages 12 months to 5 years and their accompanying adults. Babies ages 11 months and younger and kids ages 6 and older may attend class free of charge with a paid enrolled sibling.

Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing for both adults and kid(s). Please bring yoga mats if you have them. Instructor has yoga mats for participants who don't have their own.
It is recommended that families with more than one toddler under the age of 2 1/2 please bring an extra adult.
