Description

Make it retro! Before advanced graphics were developed, the first video games, like Pac-Man and Donkey Kong, were pixelated and simple, but they had this unique and sweet charm. That's why new pixelated and retro-styled games are still developed even today! Learn to create your own pixel characters and then design character movements and animations in a simple game environment. Student-created HTML5 games can be played on any mobile device or computer (or uploaded online). The Firefox Web Browser is recommended for running the HTML5 game Apps after they are finished. Students will bring their class creations on a flash drive at the end of the course.
