Biography:Alicia Johnson, MSW, PhD is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work’s MSW Program. She earned her PhD from Robert Morris University in Instructional Management and Leadership. Her research interests focus on mindset, burnout, critical issues affecting BIPOC students and trauma. Currently, Alicia is the Child Welfare Education for Leadership (CWEL) Academic Coordinator and Clinical Assistant Professor in Pitt’s School of Social Work. Prior to that, Alicia worked in K-12 education as a school social worker, Learning Environment Specialist and Director of Student Support Services for the Pittsburgh Public School District. Alicia has worked in the field of education since 2002.
