Biography:
Amy Degurian, MSW Amy comes to the Field Education Office with clinical and program coordination experience in the areas of Health Care and Gerontology. She is currently the instructor of the Grief and Loss class, in the MSW program. Ms. DeGurian received her MSW here in 1990.
Cory Coppersmith, MSW
Cory grew up on a dirt road in Price, Utah. He completed a BA in Speech and Rhetoric at Penn State and returned to Utah to work in wilderness therapy, where he learned from exceptional LCSW mentors and decided to pursue social work. He attended Pitt’s MSW program and was in the first cohort of Cannon Fellows. Cory worked in a variety of healthcare and psychiatric settings afterward, serving as DAS therapist for Turtle Creek before moving to outpatient therapy. He plays excessive amounts of Dungeons and Dragons and lives with his Corgi on the East Side of Pittsburgh.
