Description
Phoenix Plays is excited to be partnering with the Phoenix Suns Jr. Suns Youth Basketball Program to offer you the best youth basketball league possible. The league will run for 8 weeks with one 45 minute to 1 hour practice a week and one game on Saturdays. All practices and games will take place at your local community center. As part of the Phoenix Plays Jr. Suns league, you child will receive an official Jr. Suns game jersey, a Jr. Suns swag item, one game voucher good for a Suns or Mercury home game at Footprint Center of their choosing, and possible additional promotional opportunities.
Participants will be assigned to a team. Practices days and times are determined by volunteer coach's availability however you can let us know what days work best in your schedule when you register. Parents or guardians can expect a call from a league coordinator by Saturday, September 7, 2024 for team assignment and practice schedule.
All practices will be held at Cesar Chavez Community Center. Games begin on Saturday, September 21, 2024 through November 16, 2024. All games will be held at the Cesar Chavez Community Center.
Although we do our best to accommodate most special requests, we cannot guarantee your requests will be met.
Coaching is a great way to give back to our leagues and your community. Coaches will receive a Jr. Suns clipboard, coaching handbook, coach shirt, and one game voucher good for a regular season Mercury/Suns home game at Footprint Center of his/her choosing, and possible additional promotional opportunities.
