Description
Parker Theatre Academy's summer improv camp is a fun, fast-paced, and exciting jump into the world of improv! Students will learn the basics of improv, including "Yes, and…" trusting your instincts, teamwork, "group mind," and the importance of listening. Students will learn the tools to play strong characters and develop good scene work, all through the power of play! Students will learn classic improv games, as well as exercises that build confidence in both performing arts and life. This camp is a great fit for all experience levels. Students will perform for friends and family the last hour on Friday.

Parker Arts is keeping camp registration open by lowering camp maximums to 9 or 12 depending on what is required by the contracted camp provider. Families are encouraged to join a wait list free of charge in the event we may be permitted to have more participants in a classroom. Any camp that already had over 9 enrollments will be closed until we have more guidance, but please make sure to join the waitlist.
Please complete the Camp Emergency Contact Form and submit to paceedu@parkeronline.org before the first day of camp.
Students should bring a peanut-free snack and water bottle each day of camp.
If your child is enrolled for both a morning camp (9:00am-12:00pm) and an afternoon camp (1:00pm-4:00pm) during the same week they are eligible to stay for Lunch Bunch (free supervised lunch hour from 12:00pm-1:00pm). Please call 303-805-3374 or email paceedu@parkeronline.org to reserve your child a spot in Lunch Bunch.
