Description:
Parker Arts Shakespeare Festival is a theatrical competition for Douglas County middle schools and high schools. Students will perform a scene or portion of a scene from a Shakespeare play or soliloquy of their choosing and be evaluated by expert judges. The six highest scoring performances will perform on the PACE Center Main Stage and will receive a Bard’s Prize trophy for the 2020 Parker Arts Shakespeare Festival!

Shakespeare Festival competition is only open to students who have auditioned and been accepted into the 2020 Festival. Please do not register to this program if you have not been asked to participate by your school's theater teacher. Registration refunds incur a $5 fee.
Registration includes pizza lunch. Gluten-free pizza requests should be made to PACEedu@parkeronline.org. Drinks and snacks and drinks are available for purchase from PACE Center Concessions throughout the day.
Note, teachers, friends, and family are all welcomed to attend the festival for free as spectators and to provide support.
