Description: Etching is a chemical process used to make an image on a plate that holds ink. That ink is then transferred onto paper with a press. In this class you will use a non-toxic copper sulfate etchant and aluminum plates to create your series of images that can be inked and printed in a variety of ways. Materials fee payable to instructor: $30, includes water-cleanup Aquawash or Akua inks and prepared plates. Please see below and your receipt for additional materials list.
