Description

Slow down and reconnect with your grounded self as you experience "tree time" in nature. Discover how time with the trees and being embraced by Mother Nature is centering, revitalizing and healing to body, mind and soul. After a welcome to the land, we'll "forest bathe" together through simple invitations to arrive more fully and practice being present with the natural world. At a snail's pace we'll stroll in silence, tuning into sights, sounds, and scents of the beautiful forest and alongside Gallagher Cove on the South Salish Sea. We'll explore the thriving eco-system and network of soil fungi called the "Wood Wide Web" and listen to the trees sing using a device that converts electrical signals into musical notes. We'll discover how trees communicate and nurture each other and how we are connected to trees. Throughout this ethereal experience we practice “sit spotting” privately and share our discoveries
