Description:
In partnership with the Ballet Company Ventura, the Ojai Recreation Department will offer engaging instruction in beginning ballet basics; instilling confidence, poise and discipline. In an orderly progression, learn basic positions and fundamental movement and combinations. Learn the joy of moving gracefully while discovering creative capacity, balance, flexibility and rhythm. Pink canvas ballet slippers are recommended with black leotard and pink tights or leggings. Instructor will have ballet apparel for sale. Hair must secured in a clean ballet bun. For better focus and student concentration, parents may stay last class only.
