Description: 

This beginner class focuses on 3D computer modeling and animation using the free software Anim8or to create 3D models that can move and perform actions. In “Free Style” students will be taught the basic concepts and use them to make their own 3D models and animations. Free Style is for students who have good imaginations and like to build their own projects. Sanitized computers will be provided for in-class use. *A $5 Materials fee is due the first day of class (check or cash; credit card payments available through aubergii.com - click on the webstore). Due to Social Distancing each class is limited to 6 students.




COVID Registration Information:


  • Registration is available online or by calling (757) 926-1400.
  • Preregistration is required. No registrations will be accepted on the first day of classes.
  • Masks must be worn when entering the building, and participants will be screened for symptoms.
  • Executive Order Seventy-Two implements a universal mask requirement. As such, masks must remain on during the duration of the class. A 6’ physical distancing requirement is in effect.
  • Executive Order Seventy-Two also lowers the limit on social gatherings from 25 people to 10 people which includes participants and instructors. There will not be additional seating areas available within the community center for parents/guardians. In the event that a child needs to use the restroom, they should be trusted and able to do so without assistance or direct supervision. Children under the age of thirteen (13) must have an adult guardian on site (in the parking lot) at all times.
