Description: Join Rockwood staff within one of America's oldest attached Conservatories to discuss the characteristics and unique origins of the plants collected there. Many of these plants were popularized in America and Europe through global colonization efforts by Western powers. When available, more information will be provided about the 19th century plant specimens originally collected by the Conservatory's first owner, Joseph Shipley, and amateur botanist.
