COMMON THREAD: THE MUSIC OF RODGERS AND HAMMERSTEIN

Wilmington Concert Opera (WCO), a young and exclusively women-and minority-run company, was founded in 2018 on principles of diversity, inclusivity, and accessibility. Working with over 50 local professional musicians, WCO organizes exceptional concerts that are filled with popular music at very affordable (and often free) prices. The concert is supported, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. The Division promotes Delaware arts events on DelawareScene.com. This celebration of Rodgers and Hammerstein is a fund-raiser for WCO and the Rockwood Park Preservation Society. Cash bar and snacks.
