Description
Today's journey starts at the Isle a la Cache Museum. Experience the cultural heritage and natural history of the 18th century fur trade. See how the two worlds of French voyagers and Potawatomi intertwined. Feel the softness of a beaver pelt, see canoes built of birch bark and walk inside a wigwam. Next head to the Beller Museum to experience a collection of classic cars, trucks and machinery from 1929 to 1966. Proceed to White Fence Farm Restaurant for an early dinner of their famous flash-fried chicken with all the fixings. If time allows, browse the antiques in the lobby or visit the alpacas and mini goats at the outside petting zoo. Price includes transportation, museum entrances and dinner. (lmo)
