Description: Dancing on pointe encompasses both the mechanical and artistic aspects of ballet and takes the student to the next level of their study. This program encourages proper body alignment, placement of the feet and the manner in which a dancer transitions to and from en pointe. All students must be recommended for pointe work or pass an informal audition process. All students must have completed at least one year of Ballet: Level 4 and currently be enrolled in Ballet: Level 4 for the second year or Ballet: Level 5 or have equivalent experience for placement in this program.
