Description
Working together as a community to clean up and beautify a local park is a healthy way to sneak in some exercise, fresh air, and goowill! Show up with sunscreen, a smile and dressed for the weather (closed toed shoes please). Bring gardening or work gloves and a water bottle. We will provide the tools, gloves (for those who don't have them), direction and FUN! Pick one or register for multiple sites!
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Participants 15 years and younger should be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- Participants under age 18 must have a parent/guardian permission and waiver signature on file.
- Please bring your own water bottle, rain/sun protection, gloves (if you have them) and wear outdoor, work-appropriate clothing and shoes. (Closed-toed shoes required, long sleeves and pants encouraged.)
- Work Party Safety Briefing will be conducted prior to the start of work.
COVID-19 DETAILS:
All program guidelines and procedures will follow the most recent State of Washington Department of Health and Skagit County health Department COVID-19 Guidance, which means that these guidelines may change with little notice. We will keep our volunteers apprised of any additional requirements that may affect upcoming work projects. Volunteers may be asked to wear a mask. Hand sanitizer, gloves, and disinfecting solution for tools will be available on-site.
