46th Annual Freedom Classic 5K Run/Walk/Roll

Dress in your red, white, and blue and spark your Independence Day spirit on our newly certified USATF course. Take off down Recreation Drive, cruise through scenic Loch Lomond, and race toward the finish at Keith Mione Community Park. Using our new timing company, we are proud to provide the best to all our participants in this professionally chip-timed event. Join the fun! Register online at mundeleinparks.org. There is a $100 cash prize for the 1st overall male and female finishers, plus medals for 1st–3rd place finishers in each age group.

Complete the morning by watching the youngest feet compete in our FREE Firecracker Kids Race at 9 AM! Ages 10 & under can dash to the finish for a freeze pop and a medal—no registration required. Celebrate your young runner with a limited edition race t-shirt available for purchase surrounding the race.

Race Day: Registration will be available at the Front Desk of the Dolan Recreation Center. Time: 6:30-7:45 am.

Pre-Packet Pickup: Held at the Mundelein Park & Recreation District 1401 N Midlothian Rd. Date: July 1-3 at the Mundelein Community Center. Packet Pickup will close at 12 pm on July 3rd.
