We are now offering youth scholarships for swim lessons and other qualifying programs! To find out if you qualify or to receive an application, please visit mlrec.com or contact our office at 509-764-3805 or at 610 W Yakima Ave. All scholarship applications must be received and administered from the Moses Lake Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services office.

Level 3 - Stroke Development

This class will build on all skills learned in Level 2. Level 3 introduces many challenging skills that may take practice and time outside of class. Recommended age is 5-6 years and older, however all children progress at different ages. Students should be confident in all of the skills in Level 3 before continuing to Level 4.

Please note that it is very common for children to repeat Level 3 due to the challenging skills. Passing too quickly to the next level may end in your child's frustration and failure on more advanced skills.

A minimum of 4 students for all swim lessons Levels A/B and 1-6 must be registered by 5:00 pm the day prior to start of class or class will be cancelled. We will do our best to make sure that classes are not cancelled, including combining same level students into classes if necessary. A full refund will be given to already registered participants. If it is necessary to move your child from one class to another we will be happy to move them, space permitting. There will be a $5 processing fee on all participant initiated transfers. No Refunds.

All of these skills will be required to be passed for successful completion of the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Level 3.
