Description:
Scuba training includes lectures and swimming pool sessions on safe snorkeling and SCUBA diving techniques. A mandatory swim evaluation will be conducted at the first class, each student must demonstrate comfort in the water. Bring a swimsuit, towel, pen and paper to all sessions, including the first. Students must provide their own personal equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, fin boots and weight belt) beginning with the second class, and it will be described at the first lecture. Other SCUBA equipment is included in the course fee, including SCUBA tanks, air, regulators and buoyancy compensators After successful completion of all lectures and confined water requirements, written evaluation, and required open water certification dives the student will earn a BASIC SCUBA Diver certification card.
