Description: Perhaps you witnessed an awesome 4th of July fireworks display - but have you witnessed nature's fireworks this time of year? Join us for sparkling cocktails and hors d'oeuvres on the nature center deck, listen to a short talk about fireflies, and take a walk with a trained volunteer or naturalist to discover when and where to find the different fireflies that call Wheaton Regional Park home. Afterwards we'll sit out in the meadow to watch the wondrous display that only these tiny bioluminescent creatures can put on! Feel free to bring a lawn chair or blanket to comfortably watch nature's fireworks! Adults over 21 only; Rain cancels the program.
