Description: Decoy carving is an iconic folk art that is practiced throughout the state of Maryland, particularly on the eastern shore. Learning the basics of carving can be done cheaply and safely with a bar of soap. Join us for a one hour long virtual class and make your very own soap duck. A list of items needed, and templates will be provided in an email prior to the event date.
Notes:This program is offered as part of Black Hill Nature Program's month-long Virtual Waterfowl Festival in February.
