Description: 

Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board Youth Basketball is geared for recreational or beginning level play. We emphasize having fun while learning the base fundamentals of basketball. The organized leagues instruct them on the rules of basketball and the importance of teamwork. Basketball is a great sport to develop physical strength, technique, coordination and agility while meeting new friends. Youth must have been born between 9/1/04- 9/1/06 to be eligible for this league. Practices typically begin in December and will take place at Nokomis Recreation Center. Practices will be Thursdays, 7pm-8:30pm.

Players will need to confirm dates of birth with Park Director, prior to the start of the season.
