Description: Borrow outdoor, nature-based, recreational equipment and resources for FREE! Depending on the day, items available for check out may include: snowshoes, trekking poles, fort building kits, outdoor art kits, and nature observation kits such as bird watching or animal tracking. Materials must stay within park boundaries and are only available for same day checkout and return. Adventure Hub sites will feature different activities throughout the season so you can keep trying out new adventures, but will always include something to do even if there is not any snow. Get outside for a fun outdoor adventure!

Exact materials currently available at this park are posted in the front window of the rec center building. Please call this park site with any questions.

Once at the park, borrow available materials during the posted "open hub hours" by calling the number posted in the front window and the rec center staff will be ready to assist you.

Covid safety: Rec center staff will bring the materials outside to hand off to you, keeping safely distant. We ask each person using the supplies to use hand sanitizer at both kit pick-up and drop-off.

While borrowing these supplies, participants agree to:
  • Adhere to the current Minnesota state face covering mandate.
  • Maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet from staff and individuals from other households at all times
  • Complete a self-assessment of health prior to attending
  • Participants with any signs of illness are to stay home

Failure to comply may result in staff asking for early return of materials.
