Description: Get those inquisitive minds and bodies exploring nature through storybooks! Bring your little one outside for an active literary adventure while discovering nature themes during imaginative play. Each week check out a new book alongside nature exploration activities while strolling through the park. This week features Over in the Forest by Marianne Berkes. For kids up to age 5 with an adult.

Notes:

Pre-registration is encouraged, there are a limited number of spots available

- Please register all participating children, accompanying adults and siblings under the age of 2 attend for free
- Weather is always changing! Wear clothes and shoes for playing outside

During in-person outdoor programs:

  • Participants must agree to wear a face covering
  • Maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet from staff and individuals from other households at all times
  • Complete a self-assessment of health prior to attending
  • Participants with any signs of illness are to stay home
