Description
Learn the fundamentals of metalsmithing and jewelry design. We will explore jewelry fabrication techniques including sawing, piercing, and texturing. Starting with an extensive exploration of the various ways to texture metals, you can then design and fabricate a pierced pendant using these techniques. Additional supply costs depend on project choices. 3 Meetings. TEACHING ARTIST: Alison Lesniak is an independent jewelry artist and experienced teacher.
SUPPLY LIST INFORMATION: You will purchase a basic materials kit from your Teaching Artist ($3.00) at the first class session ****** NOTE: This course does NOT include stone setting or metal casting.
