Description
Ever wanted to use a laser cutter? Ever wanted to use a laser cutter to make ART? This course for the beginner to the intermediate will focus laser engraving to make plates for printmaking! Students will develop digital files from photographs, drawings and text that will be engraved into acrylic plates. The class will then use those plates to relief print on paper or other materials. These skills and tools are intended to enable participants to explore fine art, greeting cards, graphic designs, and many other applications.
Myles has an extensive portfolio of research in many exciting processes and brings a passion for exploration in the arts to Wheelhouse Studios.
