Description

Get a quick introduction to calligraphy - the art of beautiful handwriting. Learn some basic techniques and a few patterns that will help you develop your own calligraphy skills. Complete a small self-made project as you learn in this one night workshop. 1 Meeting. TEACHING ARTIST: Joann Carpenter, art teacher on the high school/college level for several years. Graduate studies at the University of Wisconsin included Calligraphy, taught by Donald Anderson. Completed Professional Calligraphy for many businesses in the area, as well as private individuals, via her company National Creations.
SUPPLY LIST:
Bring ONE of the following calligraphy markers/pens:
1. Calligraphy Markers: Must say calligraphic on them.
2. Nib: C2 ( if left hand-look for C2 L), pen holder and black ink.
3. Cartridge Calligraphy Pen.
AND Lined notepaper for practice
