Description

Campers will discover secret codes and learn to decipher hidden messages that they can share with friends, develop their earth awareness, explore the science of farts (oops, digestion), and head into space as junior astronauts. Campers will also explore why their big toe is important and how to find their center of gravity when they investigate the science of sports.

*We estimate that each day will average between an hour to an hour-and-a-half of
online activity presented live, via Zoom, followed by o!-line at-home activities that
are open ended depending on child’s engagement and should take an hour or more to complete.

Our camps have been reimagined for the online world while managing to keep that
special Mad Science vibe.

Each day starts with exciting demonstrations and hands-on experiments focused on
the days theme. Once that foundation is laid, kids will start working on custom designed, at-home projects that will keep them engaged for an hour or more and is intended to strike a balance between on-screen science and off-screen projects.

Some items used in the at-home activities are common household supplies. We will supply and deliver (one week before the start of camp) project items not normally
found at home by one of the following methods:
• Through camp partners (where applicable)
• Shipped via US mail or delivered by Mad Science (based on our availability)
• Picked-up at our Mad Science Lab in Redmond
